UNS S32205 Duplex 2205, hem austenitik hem de ferritik mikrostrukturların avantajlarını birleştiren azotla geliştirilmiş bir dupleks paslanmaz çeliktir.Standart austenit sınıflarının yaklaşık iki katı verimlilik sertliği (304/316) ve klorür stres korozyon çatlamasına (SCC) olağanüstü direnç, bu dikişsiz borular denizaltı petrol ve gazı, kimyasal işleme ve deniz suyu soğutma uygulamalarında agresif ısı değiştiricisi hizmeti için tercih edilen seçimdir.
